FAFSA will need to be completed for the Fall semester and will cover up until the following Summer semester, if your student plans to attend summer school. For 2016 graduating Seniors, you will need to fill out the 2016-2017 FAFSA after January 1st of 2016.
You will not need to fill out the 2015-2016 FAFSA unless you plan on taking summer school in 2016. If you have any questions about this, come see Ms. Alcorta in the Career Center.

As you can see, it adds up to a number you might not have anticipated. Financial aid is important in getting our students through college to obtain that post-secondary education. There are many forms of financial aid out there like scholarships, grants, loans and work-study programs. Students can look for scholarships and grants whenever they want! There are so many scholarships out there that some might not be awarded, that year, because there aren't any students who apply to them. College is not cheap, and whatever financial support your student is able to obtain will make it that much less stressful towards receiving that college diploma!
